Our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Approach

Tokai Health employs a group of healthcare professionals who form part of the Multi Disciplinary team (MDT) responsible for providing comprehensive health services. The MDT consists of a medical practice of five doctors, a Nursing Services team, Carers, an on-site Pharmacy, as well as our aligned Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Social Workers, Discharge Planners, and Dietitian. The MDT work together to administer care and support optimal outcomes for patients.

 

Tokai Estate Hospital Facilities

Tokai Health offers state of the art facilities to enable and maximise the patients rehabilitation and recovery. Accommodation is specifically designed for comfort and stress free recovery. From en-suite bathrooms to assisted and wheelchair accessible showers, Faircape Tokai combines world class healthcare provision with the comforts of premium hospitality. The facility offers a Gym and Rehabilitation room, Piped and Mobile Oxygen, Coffee Shop, Hairdresser, peaceful Outdoor Courtyard as well as an on-site Pharmacy.

Blood Transfusion

At Faircape Health we are able to administer blood transfusions to our patients who are symptomatic of anaemia and requiring blood products.

Faircape Health features on-site dialysis equipment allowing us to fully support patients with renal failure. Patients receiving chronic dialysis are able to receive their dialysis at the facility during their rehabilitation period.
