Faircape Health

Psychology and Neuropsychology

Psychology and neuropsychology plays a profound role in our healing journey, and can impact mental health, and behaviour. The Faircape Health Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) incorporates psychological and neuropsychological care to help patients regain emotional well-being, cognitive function, and independence following acute neurological events or medical treatments.

Meet Our Psychology and Neuropsychology

As part of our holistic approach to treatment, the Faircape Health IDT provides psychology and neuropsychology services that focus on both emotional and cognitive recovery. Our specialists support patients experiencing challenges such as memory loss, attention difficulties, mood changes, or cognitive impairments following neurological events, medical treatments, or chronic illness.

This approach allows clinicians to assess and address the impact on daily functioning, interpersonal relationships, and overall quality of life. By understanding the dynamic interaction between health conditions, personal factors, and the environment, our IDT helps patients optimise their cognitive and emotional recovery, and supports their journey towards independence and improved well-being.
