I’m very pleased with the service I got here. Sarah and Gadija did a good job with the physiotherapy. The carers were amazing and came in an instant when I rang the bell. The food was amazing and I’m actually sorry to leave here. I am going to miss all the lovely meals they served. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that would need it – August 2022
I am more comfortable now and content than when I was admitted. The staff always treated me with respect. I am happy with the service I received from everyone. The kitchen staff are amazing and always served me with a smile. Thank you to Eddie as well. The food was something to look forward to and this is one facility that is spotless. This is an excellent facility. All staff are so positive and beautiful here. The physiotherapists played a huge role in my recovery and I would like to thank them for everything they have done for me. The food was lovely but too much for a small eater like me. I have never seen anything dirty in this place and I take my hat off to those who keeps it so clean. I would absolutely recommend anyone that needs to come here. I had a pleasant stay at Tokai. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The cleaning here is top class. I could walk barefoot as my feet were swollen most times and be surprised that my feet were actually still clean after my walk with the physiotherapist. It’s a lovely place. The team you have here is a great team. I enjoyed my stay – everyone did a great job. The kitchen staff is also nice. When I went into hospital I could not do anything for myself but here I got very good care and was well looked after and recovered very well.
The food was excellent and I even asked my wife if I could bring some menus home for her. My family was also very impressed by the effort of the remarkable catering staff. I have a great respect for people cooking in bulk. The standard you set here is amazing. From caring to physiotherapists to housekeeping and catering, they were super and I appreciate it so much. The team played their part very well. I always have an appreciation for the cleaners that have outdone themselves in this facility, so put so much effort into what they do, and with a smile.

What a superb place to recover from an operation or any illness. This is the second time I have been there and have received nothing but the best care from the Drs, OT, Physio carers and catering staff. Dr Ncci visited me everyday and nothing was too much trouble.
Trish my physio was fantastic and gave me the love, care and compassion that I needed which in turn helped my confidence and helped me gain the skills which prepared me for my home environment. Rachel made sure that everything was set up at home for an easy transition home and also helped me in all aspects. The carers and housekeeping were always smiling, willing and tremendously helpful to everything I needed. The food was outstanding, healthy, plentiful and always beautifully presented. What more can I say but,Thank you all so much for all you did for me during my stay with you, I will forever be singing your praises as I’ve never had better care.
Staff at Fair Cape Health Rehabilitation Centre were friendly, professional and respectful at all times. The nursing staff were polite and always willing to help, eventhough busy. The carers were always cheerful and pleasant when handling my mother. The admin staff were highly efficient and showed excellent customer service when dealing with queries. Most reception staff were friendly. The dietitian, speech therapist and physiotherapist were reassuring when dealing with my mother and were clearly highly skilled in their area of expertise. The centre was always clean and tidy. The locum (not Fair Cape Healthcare staff) was friendly and knowledgeable, yet seemed to show a slight lack of experience when prescribing a medication without checking with my mother that she had the necessary equipment at home to take the medication. We were extremely satisfied in the efficient manner in which Fair Cape resolved the matter. I would highly recommend the centre to anyone in need of rehabilitation.
This facility is 1st rate. The medical team, nurses, therapists, carers, kitchen staff and cleaners could not be faulted. I spent 3 weeks there after complex spinal surgery and had many complications. I could not have been in more professional or caring hands. I am extremely grateful to them and to my medical aid for facilitating my recovery.

I felt safe, well taken care of. Were it not for the pain, I could easily believe that I am in a hotel. The friendliness of the staff was comforting, especially during times of pain, times when one feels lonely and far from ones loved ones. Thank you very much.
Dr Bridgette Cochrane was the attending physician for most of my time there and her empathetic and caring treatment of me helped enormously with my recovery. Dr Natheema Isaacs who recently replaced her is also excellent. Doctors are caring and empathetic and physio excellent. I was so weak and not able to breath and with the professional and empathetic care and treatment 3 weeks later I can walk out of here full of hope that I will recover fully from having been severely ill with Covid breathing my own air without support. Thank you to you all.
Thank you to all at Onrus Manor for the kindest assistance in getting me better to be able to go home. I will always see Onrus as my second home. And will definitely be back should the need arise.
The staff have been caring and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I did not deal with admin as an occupant, it would have been nice to have been told in advance of the quarantining of luggage, it would have enabled me to prepare for that situation with an overnight bag. But the morning staff, and especially the sister in charge at the time, were extremely helpful. So, no problems arose. Excellent professional service – much appreciated!
