Our Nursing Team comprises of a Senior Nursing Services Manager over all 6 facilities, a Nursing Services Manager at each facility together with Registered Nurses leading every shift, day and night. They are assisted by Enrolled Nurses and Enrolled Nursing Assistance according to the needed staffing at each facility.
The Nursing Team has a wide range of experience, training and knowledge on all aspects of medical, surgical and respite care. Our patient is our priority and we care for them holistically as we feature in each of the other Multidisciplinary Teams. We liaise with the families and assist them and our patients to deal with their unique reason for being in our care.
On admission you will be allocated a team of Nursing staff and Carers that will be looking after you until you get discharged to ensure that you have continuity of the same nursing staff looking after you that know you and the progress that you are making. You feel like family as you will know all your Nurses and they will know your likes, dislikes and preferences making your stay as pleasant as possible.
Chenel, the manager of Faircape Health Hospital, is a crucial member of the Faircape Group Healthcare team. Chenel holds a Master of Business Administration from Stellenbosch University, with a specific focus on approaches and requirements for healthcare leaders to effectively lead and manage healthcare ecosystems.
Senior Nursing Services Manager for the 6 Healthcare facilities. Her academic qualifications include Nursing training at Groote Schuur Hospital. She has worked in all fields of nursing and midwifery in South Africa and in Saudi Arabia for 10 years, where she was an active participant in achieving Magnet Accreditation - the highest recognised nursing accreditation internationally. She’s passionate about nursing and leading her team to achieve excellence.
Sister Celente is dedicated to the wellbeing of her patients. As the Nursing Services Manager at Noordhoek Manor, she aims to create a tranquil, safe, and supportive environment. Her life motto is ‘happiness is not a destination, it is a travelling path’. A registered nurse with a master’s degree in psychiatry and a diploma in nursing management, providing holistic comfort and assurance to the hearts of residents and their families is of great importance to her.
Nursing Services Manager at Onrus Manor Healthcare. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration, Honours in Bachelor of Arts: Health Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Nursing Science, and a Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery. She returned to South Africa after holding the position of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in the UAE. Her experience in multi-disciplinary environments allowed her to have first-hand input in building organizational systems and processes that support the attainment of excellent patient care outcomes. She is passionate about her work with seniors to ensure and improve “quality of life with integrity.”
